You

Perhaps you have had the pleasure of a moment that, at the time, was so delightful that words to express your emotions escaped you. If so, you will understand the motivation behind what I share in this expression of a moment lived 29 September 1989 that I attempted to portray in the words of "YOU."

You

To have a kindred spirit … a like Soul with whom I can loose the chains of my normally well-controlled performance …

To be able to rest in the assurance that my inner-most secrets and desires can express themselves in an environment of safe acceptance …

To enjoy the free expression of long-desired, waiting to be experienced, wishes and fantasies in concert with Another who hears, and shares …

Such is the time shared with … such is the feeling … the reason for the joy … the source of the smile that has accompanied me all this day … ‘Inner Sunshine …’
You!

Absolutely lovely, John-Michael. It's so lovely, in fact, that I am going to print it out and bring it home to the person who gives me that feeling. You know who that is, of course :-)

Lovely words and thoughts, John-Michael. They do seem a wee bit wistful, or is it hopeful?

I join you in that "aching," My Dearest Lime. 'Tis the ache of yearning for satisfaction of a taste established in experience. "Better to have 'tasted,' and lost ... than not to have 'tasted' at all." (Or something like that ... Eh! [smile])

Lovingly ...

I do hope that the recollection of the Beauty of your experience ... brings accompanying joy and blissful smiles, Dearest Rose.

(My stirred recollection prompted an Email to an old High School Sweetheart who I have not spoken with since 1963. I am such a Sap! [smile])

There is absolutely NOTHING in all of this world, that could be a greater compliment ... nor please me more than what you have said here, My Darling Friend, Jim, SulDog, Sullivan. I am overjoyed at the prospect of you doing that! Thank you!

They lie sandwiched 'tween the two, My Darling NiteByrd. Nestled twixt wistful and hopeful. You read it quite rightly (once again [smile].)

Lovin' You ...

I think your beautiful words may have captured by wedding day. A day when taking a step back to enjoy the atmosphere was the time I remember most.

Thank you.

Ahhh Dear JM.

That kind of moment is indeed one to clasp to your breast and swirl around in your memory.

Wishing you another one.

Hello ~ came here by way of Crystal Jigsaw! Wonderful blog and great thoughts throughout! :)

Ah, Dear CJ! You caused me to go to your photo album, and revisit the photo of you and The Farmer. There, I allowed myself to consider the joy, that must have been yours, as you took "a step back to enjoy the atmosphere." I like thoughts of you immersed in happiness! That's how it is when we love each other, isn't it? We are happy when the One we love knows happiness. I am grateful that Life has allowed us to share such joy in each other. Such a lovely Gift!

Your thoughtful kindness is so constantly sweet, My Darling Aims. But I dare not even consider the possibility of such a moment, yet to be known. The anticipation would be unbearable!

Loving ... loving you ...

Oh Betsy! What a compliment to have you visit with my thoughts and ideas! I am genuinely grateful. Upon visiting your profile, I came away notably impressed, indeed. I love 'meeting' a person of obvious character and depth. I look forward to reading your blog's revelations and insights. I like finding Treasures! [smile]

Sublime.

And such a moment has informed your life since. John-Michael, thank you for eliciting my own reflections on such a moment...

That was lovely John-Michael and even though there's no one in the photo it just goes with it so beautifully...

John-Michael said...

Dear, Precious San ... how joyous, the thought that I have had the wondrous opportunity to stir some slumbering Reflection that gives you a moment's pleasure! Nothing ... and I REALLY mean NOTHING ... can be better for me than such a thought. Simply because I do adore You. And to serve the purpose of happiness for You, gives me delight.

You touch me in the most intimate and almost-sacred way, when you speak of what I have so purposely attempted to do, My Dear, and Oh-So-Special Don Mills Darling Friend. For (as you have tenderly noted) giving You the invitingly vacuous beauty of that scene ... allows your Soul to install your own imagery. And (judging from the comments of others) just that has been accomplished in a few lives. Hence, I am satisfied in my desire.

Ah, I think i've had a moment like that John-Michael...and it was beautiful.

I would pray a ceaseless flow, of such moments, to be yours, Dear Crystal. For such a stream is where your beautiful Spirit would be most at home.

Lovingly ...
