Inasmuch as this is Sunday and the day recognized in a large part of the world as a day of rest… I choose to divert our attentions away from all of the “stuff” of everyday consideration… and give our spirits liberty to drift into the realm of “Leisure” courtesy of William Henry Davies with accompanying images as credited. I bid you, each and all, serene respite and recreation.
Leisure
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

What a beautiful visual. Thank you for sharing this wonderful find.
Don't you just love the gifts of perspectives from others! I am so pleased to have this venue in which to share exciting and pleasant discoveries... and so grateful for the lives of individuals (like you, Sharon) who are receptive to and ready for them.
