Allow This Moment

Allow This Moment

Please, do not be discomfited,
As I stand here … in still, and silent gaze.
A moment is required, for my senses,
To rest in the wonder of your presence.

No greeting … indeed, no words,
Can convey all that is my satisfaction,
In this wondrous Gift … that is You.
And I find my Self to be overcome in Joy.

So, I ask, please grant me this short while,
To gather all that spills from my cup of rapture.
That I might find some serene and gentle way,
To tell You, again, of my adoring Love.

Thank You, Sweet Lime.

I do love the lovely way that you make me smile. You are Tops!

You have such a lovely way with words. As you know, I like to bang them around and break them up and sew them back together and otherwise make their lives miserable, but I have the feeling that if words were living things, they be treated as gently as newborn kittens in your hands.

I'm just a slapstick kind of guy, mostly. You go more for the love story. It's nice to come here and get that. I truly mean that.

It's too bad that very moment... would make the majority of people uncomfortable.

I may sing my Love Songs in ballad style, whilst you sing your Hearts expressions in a style with more rock and roll in the soundtrack ... but, my Dear SulDog Friend, the same Love comes through ... with clarity and distinctly. I heard it from my first visit to your cave. And knew that we are kin from that moment on.

I love you, Jim. (and your kind message touched me ... thank you)

Sandra, my Darling ... you give me a moment's pause. For that thought is precisely what stirred me to attempt to shape the described moment as I contemplated your Heart's expression ... exactly. And, me being who I am ... I simply HAD TO try to paint a bit of a word-picture of such an instant ... to allow whomever will ... to stop ... and consider.

You have again blessed me ... in your lovely way. Thank you.

appreciating the moment, the friendship, the time to just be in your gentle silence...joy, comfort, smiles...thank you for that.

Lovely JM - shall we meet on the dock and enjoy a morning's peace?

John-Michael said...

Dwelling ... sharing a moment and a place ... gratefully appreciating the Gift of harmony in respite ... are concepts that are so oft neglected. Yet, I perceive that to allow my Self to be absorbed in simply Dwelling ... in the presence of a loved One ... would be a happening of glorious merit. And, my Dear Joni, I can scarcely imagine One, in whose presence the joy of Dwelling, could eclipse sharing a moment with you.

In respectful admiration ...

"A morning's peace" would be a gift to relish, in Life's 'unwrapping' it with Her gentle and gradual grace. And to share that 'unwrapping' in your sweet presence ... My Darling Aims, would enhance Life's Gift immeasurably. I look forward to our meeting on the dock. (The birds have been particularly lively and energetic, of late.)

Precious Rose ... my Dear Friend ... to think that I might have been able to bring some element of Beauty to you, gives me a satisfied smile of contentment. Thank you for this lovely thought. [and the consideration of a Dear Friend's (hug.)]

Your words, Sweet Casdok, are the highest praise. For they convey my fondest hope. To offer whatever Beauty I sense ... in its purest Simplicity. Thank you for your Gift of the same.

Gratefully ...
