Just as this is true in travel, I find that we all 'find' different sounds in shared enjoyment of musical selections. I am very fond of the Oboe and Bassoon, while my companion may be more inclined to being attuned to Strings or Percussion. Our different perspectives make for an enhanced life experience, when we share.
These diversities of awareness occurred to me as I engaged myself in one of my favorite pastimes ... perusing the "In Pictures" area of The BBC News. So, I thought that it might be fun to share some of my recent discoveries ... and see if those elements of the photographs are the same 'focus draws' that attract your attention. Kind of the same exercise that we did as children looking at the same cloud formations ... yet seeing completely different images in them. So, here goes ...
The Photographer saw this image from a Fashion Show, one way ...
But I saw something else in it ...
Here, the Photographer asked us to see the Dogs
following the Trained Monkeys ...

But I saw something entirely different ...
And (as you will note from their shared "comments"),
'Lime,' and 'SulDog' found this young man more interesting.

We were asked to see the pattern of Circles in the Snow, as created by the Traffic ...
I prefer to enhance the Pattern without noting the causation ...
A Tasting of Cooked Rice, was the Subject here ...
But not for Me ...
'Sam the Koala' has been popular for his survival of his injuries
in Australia's recent tragedy of wildfires ...

But his magical Expression grabbed my attention ...
I surely have enjoyed sharing these Moments and these Images with You, Dear One. I thank you for your companionship. And please remember ... my happy focus is always unwaveringly on my Love of ... YOU. [smile]All IMAGES from BBC News / In Pictures / The Big Picture

Your eyes and mine tend to "see" similar areas of focus. I so enjoy lingering over pictures. I particularly love the rickshaws and the wee boy in blue - lovely.
And I thank You, Dear Suza, for joining Me on this little Outing. Us sharing it, together, enhances my enjoyment of the Experience.
Lovingly ...
i just love that first couple of pictures. the silhouette which include the ribs of the umbrella is so elegant and mysterious.
my focus was on the man leading the monkeys.
i agreed with you on the circles.
on the last one i saw the girl in red next to the boy because her focus is entirely different from everyone elses and i want to know why. ;)
So cool! Thank You, Lime, My Darlin.' I revisited the photos and saw them through your eyes. That is precisely what I am talking about. Such fun!

Valuable thoughts given out today, John-Michael. Perception is so different for each of us. For instance, in the shot of the monkeys/dogs/carts, my focus went to the walking man first (as did Lime's, apparently.) Very good stuff.
I guess I never gave this much thought...but how interesting...I noticed the dogs following the moneys....HA! Such fun indeed.
Hugs,
Rose
In response to your demonstration of the Point of this little exercise, My SulDog Friend, I have amended the post to illustrate the Focal Point that drew your interest, as well as Lime,s. I surely do appreciate your sharing in this with Me.
I do love Ya, Jim ...
And it is those "Stray Dogs" that drew the caption for the photo, in the BBC's presentation, Rose, My Dear. How uniquely gifted we are all in this wonderful business of living and responding to Life!
My Love and HUGs to You ...
It's so wonderful to always look beyond, isn't it? The things you see when you open your eyes and mind can be amazing!
Love all the beautiful pictures, hun, especially "Sam."
And how I do enjoy each new and fresh Perspective shared with me, Dear NiteByrd! Every Friend has a Gift to offer. And I am so grateful for all.
(That 'Sam' is, indeed, a Charmer, isn't he!?)
Lovingly ...
