To make known, to others, the truths, beliefs, values,
and impressions that are ours.
That the treasure of our having known Life ... will be theirs.

Images are powerful...and when you add the right words, soul filling.
From the earliest times we have expressed ourselves through art, be it images, sculptures or words.

Somehow, Lime, my Darlin, I don't feel that far removed from that 'early blog.' Though his 'hard drive' seems to have crashed on the left border of his 'template', his graphics are pretty cool! Looks like the "Hard Rock Cafe' had wireless access from the start. [silly grin]
(see there! I do see the goofy side of things sometimes [smile])
I really do feel a kinship with these folks in their attempts to express what they were aware of in their perceived world. Isn't that what we too are attempting in our own current reaching out to each other Sandra? I do believe that our Spirits are yet the same.

Jim, my Dear Friend, your comment (cave-wise) triggered a fun memory. I don't know if you were old enough to have paid any attention to The Hollywood Argyles ( really just Gary Paxton with a multi-track solo) doing Alley Oop. But it instantly sprang to mind when I read your comment. So, "THANKS!!" for a huge grin!

Certainly I remember The Hollywood Argyles! They were slightly ahead of my time, but "Alley Oop" showed up in every K-Tel collection ever advertised on TV during my youth, so I was very familiar with the song. Of course, it also got airplay here and there on the Top 40 stations I listened to at the time, so I did hear the whole song :-)
Odd: I remember reading the funny pages one day (a paper I didn't usually read) and seeing the comic strip "Alley Oop", and thinking it was pretty cool that they made a comic strip from the song. I didn't find out until a few years later that it was the other way around, and "Alley Oop" (the comic strip) had been around for many years.
