hahahaha, we had a whole tree like that at our old house. every other deciduous tree for miles was denuded, this one waited a week after the rest were bare before it sheds its leaves.

Obviously the residual effects of its association with your delightfully-contrarian spirit. Let's hear it for the Pennsylvania/Dutch independent soul. (I think that you and I, Darling Lime, may have a synergistic power that could be a threat to "The Establishment." And I like it! [grin])

A great big "Atta-boy" (or "girl" ... as the tree-case may be) to that determined stalwart of the "doing it my way" arbor-world. When you get the chance, Sweet Willow, please extend my best regards to that determined One.

Loving you ...
