hahahaha, we had a whole tree like that at our old house. every other deciduous tree for miles was denuded, this one waited a week after the rest were bare before it sheds its leaves.
I am squirmy about all the little chat abbreviations like "LOL" but truly, I am laughing out loud.

We have an oak tree that holds its crisp brown leaves all winter until spring when it sprouts new buds.
Obviously the residual effects of its association with your delightfully-contrarian spirit. Let's hear it for the Pennsylvania/Dutch independent soul. (I think that you and I, Darling Lime, may have a synergistic power that could be a threat to "The Establishment." And I like it! [grin])
