A Moment to Consider

When it all becomes too much to consider...
When my faculties are overwhelmed and my strength depleted...
I give myself permission to consider the smaller scale...
To shut out all of the noise and demands of everything beyond this moment.
And I delight in the true reality of...

In the alphabet of Creation...
There are neither large "I"s... nor small "U"s.

Glass wing butterflies are incredibly beautiful. I want to thank you for your posts. I find myself looking forward to each new post. They are thought provoking and usually what I need to hear at the moment. Throughout my life I have had people who are more than eager to point out all of my shortcomings. I am only now learning that I am ok as I am. That I am who I am supposed to be. So thank you for emotionally putting yourself on the line to post what you do.

Ah, My Dear Sharon... You have just demonstrated the reality that you are far more than "ok." You sensed the need of anothet fellow Pilgrim with whom you are sharing life's path... and you reached out with a voice of care and encouragement. This is a reflection of character and soulful empathy that is way far above the 'ok' standard. And I thank you. (You may enjoy another Glass-Wing butterfly image and message on the posting "Transparency" offerred in April [http://justbeingjohnmichael.blogspot.com/2006/04/transparency.html ]

My Dear 'r'...such a compliment to have you invest a moment of your life to not only visit my little site... but to generously leave a thoughtful note... I wish that you had the time for a cup of tea, I'd love to hear more about your painting.
